Gaining Perspective
I read a blog post today by Tim Brownson and I felt compelled to post this, he discusses what a life Lance Armstrong’s book can give.
What can I say, Lance’s book does give you a different perspective on life, I’d agree with that one - I was banned from reading it until I’d finished Chemo, but I’ll tell you who else gives you spirit when you’re actually going through Chemo the Doctors, Nurses and Macmillan support staff, if you want some perspective in life - spend some time with these guys! They are fantastic.
I would also like to add that after I read a post on the Mexican Taint website that has a download of Lance Armstrong’s second book (not sure on the legality of that!), I felt a bit better about some of my feelings post-Cancer, feelings I didn’t quite understand, and still don’t - but I do know I’m not the only one feeling like that!!
